WSOP P2P Edition coming to casinos

Casinos will soon be able to obtain a new Peer to Peer software programme called “World Series of Poker”, which will be loaded onto gaming terminals on their premises.

Progressive Gaming, the inventor of the system, has released this software in order to allow casinos to offer an unlimited number of tables configured with different variants of blinds, rakes and bad beat jackpots.

This can be thought of as a type of virtual poker room established within a group of real brick and mortar casinos.

The principle is simple: a player with an account in a casino can subscribe to a card that will allow access to virtual poker terminals and tables. He or she will then be able to play online against players logged on in any of the group’s casinos.

The computerised data from games will be stored in a statistical database, giving players a complete chronological record of their games!
