National Poker League 2007 kicks off in London on 12th August 2007

The second round of the National Poker League’s international tournament series will take place at the Loose Cannon Club in London from 12th to 18th August 2007. The tournaments will then successively head for the Philippines, Australia and the USA.

The National Poker League (NPL), a division of New Vision Media Corp., organises the distribution of information relating to poker and international tournaments.

The Open will begin with preliminary and satellite tournaments before culminating in a final table that is planned for Saturday 18th August. The buy-in for the satellites varies between £540 and £2,600. The final round will take place in Las Vegas in the USA at the end of December with a $15,000 buy-in.

The NPL will be broadcast in 26 episodes by television channels in the USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Latin America. The first programmes in France are scheduled for the end of September 2007 on the TF1 network of channels : Jet Sports and EuroSports.
