Online tournament - Pacific Poker launches the World Poker Crown (WPC)

The giant poker room Pacific Poker and online gaming leader 888 are offering their players the opportunity to win the first World Poker Crown via a qualifying tournament to be held at 3pm on Saturday 26 April.

To participate in this tournament, you have to enrol on Pacific Poker.

The live Grand Final will be held at the Casino Peralada in Barcelona, between 6 and 10 May 2008, with a 3 million dollar prize pool on offer. The winner will be crowned WPC champion and pocket the princely sum of 1 million dollars!

The final table will be filmed and broadcast in Great Britain, Germany and South America.
