200 to 300 million euros illegal bets during the football world cup

The football world cup in South Africa will be a huge playground for punters. On this occasion hundreds of million bets will be placed. An opportunity that may escape from France and from legality.

Rumours that France would struggle to keep the deadlines for the opening of the gambling market are becoming increasingly insistent. If they were verified it would be damaging to the French state, but also for the operators.

According to a study there are some 200 to 300 million euros which will be played then on illegal sites. If France did not open its market, the online game operators will strongly suffer the harm. Just as the state that will see getting away its induced taxes by these bets.
