Harrah’s Entertainment Inc – the American owner of the WSOP brand and numerous casinos worldwide - has announced that it is changing its name to “Caesars Entertainment Corporation”.

Harrah’s owns many of the world’s biggest casinos such as the famous Rio in Las Vegas, the Grand Casino, Bally’s, Caesar’s, the Horseshoe, Harrah’s and establishments inspired by major foreign cities such as the Paris Las Vegas and the Imperial Palace.

Establishments already bearing the Harrah’s brand name will not be renamed. But all activities relating to the fields of entertainment, distribution and catering will now belong to the “Caesars Entertainment Corporation”.

Harrah’s believes that its new name will increase its market share by appealing to the growing number of customers seeking luxury and entertainment. Strategic alliances with new commercial partners are also envisaged with a view to improving the international awareness of the group.
