The Norwegian Ministry of Culture has officially declared that its country is preparing to enact an anti-gaming law based on the American model that would outlaw any financial transactions with companies offering online casino games, poker or sports betting.
During the annual bookmakers’ fair that was recently held in Barcelona, a senior figure in he Norwegian Ministry of Culture declared that the law is being created in response to increasing public opposition to gambling activities and online casinos.
It should be noted that like the citizens of Quebec, Norwegians have suffered from serious gambling addiction problems since the introduction of slot machines and other electronic games, but the problem persists even though certain games have already been banned.
