PartyGaming and 888 threatened with heavy fines by the United States

Following discussions with the American justice system, PartyGaming and 888 could be forced to pay fines… of 900 and 120 million dollars respectively !

Nearly one year ago, after the announcement of the enactment of the law banning online gambling in the United States, PartyGaming and 888, both of which are listed on the stock exchange, were immediately withdrawn from the American markets, thus depriving them of two-thirds of their income !
PartyGaming and 888 responded by entering into a discussion with the American Department of Justice in order to clarify their positions regarding the new law.

According to the American and British media, the negotiations between the Department of Justice and both companies are not going well and there are rumours of the confiscation of the profits made from their American customers, adding up to 900 million dollars for PartyGaming and 120 million dollars for 888 !
