Cheating at online poker on UltimateBet.com

Username “NioNio” - a “super user” and a cheat with highly irregular results - has been unveiled on UltimateBet. He allegedly benefitted from being able to see the cards of other players on the site during the period between March 2006 and December 2007 and helped 18 other “super users” to benefit from the fraud.

The watchdog KGC has been alerted and is conducting an enquiry that has revealed losses of over $1,000,000. The organisation suspects that the change of “nickname” observed on the site implies that the online poker players were helped by former UltimateBet staff or - even worse - that these people were actually behind the accounts.

It is interesting to note that six months ago, Absolute Poker, which belongs to the same company as Ultimate bet - Tokwiro Enterprises ENRG, was also a victim of the same type of fraud orchestrated by two administrators working in the Absolute Poker offices in Costa Rica.
