Despite the growth of other sectors of online games, 94% of the turnover of Bwin comes from sports betting. The gross income of games is in rise of 21% in the heart of the bwin activity and reaches 235 million euro. Bwin counts more than 280 million placed bets in 2008 against 233 million in 2007 and announces 1.67 million clients for sports betting (increase of 27%)

Bwin poker, Bwin casino and other online games

Bwin poker and the other poker sites announce 94 million dollars of turnover for 2008 (+14%). Bwin opens new perspectives in Italy with the acquisition of a license that will allow him to expand its poker offer legally in a country where poker is booming.
The number of active clients for poker is estimated about 680 000, that is to say twice as much as for casino.

The turnover of Bwin Casino passes to 70 million euro (+14%).

Finally the various games are booming as at many of its competitors, in rise from 37,3% to 21,3 million euro.
