Casinos against online operators

While the liberalization of the market is approaching and everyone is trying to mark its territory, the war of the games has been declared by the casino operators. The casinos Tranchant, Barrière and Joa filed a lawsuit against certain online game operators.

Since a few times certain online game operators play with the limit of legality. Unibet, Bwin, Sportingbet und 888 are directly aimed by the lawsuit filed by the 3 casino operators.
Those believe that the operators are too visible on the French territory while the finance minister mentioned several times that the publicity for online games are forbidden. Except the “Française des Jeux” which is for the moment the only accepted operator by the state.

In this case it seems to be surprising that sites such as Betclick, Partouche and Winamax are not concerned. These operators are nevertheless quite visible, with the image of the publicity campaign of Betclic and Europe 1.

There you can see a kind of protectionism towards the interests and the French companies, there is just a step to cross the line…
